Bob Appleby will be our Guest Speaker:
Bob Appleby and his wife Dawne pastor Cornerstone Church in Clinton, CT which they started in April 1993. Bob also serves on the Board of Directors for ULM Relief which provided extensive support in New York City after 9/11 and in the Gulf Coast area after Hurricane Katrina.
After serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps and turning down an officer's commission, Bob entered full-time ministry in 1987 until 1988, when he pulled up stakes to attend Bible Baptist College in Arlington, Texas. Immediately upon his ordination, Bob was called to a pastorate in Grand Prairie, TX where he served until 1992.
Bob has served hundreds of hours in Ground Zero by providing chaplain support to firefighters, policemen and relief workers. He has also served several months in Biloxi, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina by providing chaplain support and helping to coordinate 1,000's of volunteers and hundreds of tractor trailers filled with needed supplies. Bob is currently the chaplain for the Clinton Police and Fire Departments.
Bob and Dawne have been married twenty seven years and have two children and one grandchild.
