Glad Tidings Tabernacle (GTT) is an Assemblies of God church pastored by Revs. Carl & Donna Keyes. GTT is a culturally diverse church with an emphasis on practical teaching, supportive fellowship, and furthering God's kingdom. With a strong vision to build a better city, GTT actively reaches out to the community to change lives. Church programs express God's Word and His love in many ways through various media: from the pulpit, on the streets, through music, drama, art and dance. GTT cultivates new believers and provides a safe community in which to worship and learn more about God, and a forum to express individual gifts and talents to His Glory.

Established in 1907 by Rev. Marie E. Brown, GTT has a rich and fascinating history. Serving the New York community consistently and steadfastly, the church has had only four pastors in its 100 years of existence.

During the tragic events of September 11th, Glad Tidings mobilized to lead relief efforts, ministering through a 24-hour counseling center, feeding relief workers, donating goods and services, and working with the local and national government agencies to channel support through finances and supplies. Pastors Carl & Donna Keyes were recognized by the United States Senate for their tremendous work in 2001.
